Welcome to an unparalleled experience at The Etches Collection, where the prehistoric world comes to life.
The Etches Collection brings the finest single collection of Late Jurassic age fossils to Kimmeridge, Dorset. We are particularly excited to introduce the Pliosaur skull, recently discovered in the local area and the subject of the incredible BBC documentary “Attenborough and the Giant Sea Monster”. Yet there is more to do to reunite the skull with the rest of the body!
Introducing our Patrons scheme, where we hope to bring together a community of like-minded individuals who share our passion to see the museum thrive, bringing education, tourism, and pride to the local area and maybe one day the remainder of the Pliosaur body to the museum.
In joining us as a Patron you will and granted exclusive access to the mesmerizing world of Jurassic fossils. Immerse yourself in the wonders of palaeontology, unlocking a journey through time with privileged insights and behind-the-scenes access. Join us as a Patron and become a vital part of preserving and unravelling Earth’s ancient mysteries.
We hope you will join us on this journey.
